Just uploaded photos from my camera and realised there has been much eating of late and very little blogging! Bear with me as I share with you a recent stockpile of interesting and yummy eateries.
Burch and Purchese Sweet Studio: 647 Chapel St, South Yarra
This is a little dessert-ery on the quieter end of chapel st near the church st bridge. It’s a cute little shop with lovely staff who are happy to explain ingredients and offer suggestions as well as samples of their chocolate There’s an amazing range of sweet things here, from cakes to crumbles to honeycomb to jars of jam and lemon curd and salted caramel. Even freeze dried fruit powder.
We had the Coconut, Passionfruit, Ginger and Mint. Each little cup (see below) had: coconut mousse, passionfruit curd, coconut caviar, passionfruit jelly, salted oat and ginger crumble, white chocolate mint wafer, ginger macaroon and white chocolate spray.
Such an interesting dessert because you can take your time experimenting with the individual components and then putting them together. Wonderful flavours that really complimented each other
